10 September 2010 Johnossi Comics

Hey folks - today sees the launch of Johnossi Comics - a collaboration with cartoon artist Kim W Andersson who made the artwork for Mavericks. Kim and fellow cartoon artist Fabian Göransson have been hard at work putting together stories inspired by music from "Mavericks" and an actual cartoon magazine will be out in November. If you live in Sweden and use Spotify, starting today you can follow the first cartoon called "Mavericks" , a story about professional surfer Ana Rosario who takes part in the dangerous surfer competition at Mavericks Point outside of San Francisco. Every few days a new episode will come out. The good news is you'll be able to follow the story here on johnossi.com as well! There is also a competition where you can be drawn into the actual cartoon - (competition is now over).
